 

Add the values $1$ and $72$

$\frac{1}{4}x^4-\frac{7}{6}x^3+31x^2+\frac{73}{6}+x-\frac{2}{3}x^2$

 

Combining like terms $-\frac{2}{3}x^2$ and $31x^2$
